Classical music has been around since roughly the 11th century. It included composers such as Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827), Frederic Chopin (1810-1849) and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky (1840-1893). Other composers include Antonio Vivaldi (1678-1741), Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750), George Frideric Handel (1685-1759), Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791), Felix Mendelssohn (1809-1847), Johann Strauss II (1825-1899) and Johannes Brahms (1833-1897).
Trans-Siberian Orchestra has put a twist on Classical music by turning it into rock Classical. Just 12 years ago, TSO came out with their first non-holiday album titled Beethoven's Last Night. Beethoven features a few that Beethoven himself composed including "Requiem". On top of TSO's twist to the genre, there are several original songs.
